Later in the 16th and 17th centuries during the Ming Dynasty, a remarkable success was made as doctors again made outstanding progress in the field. This led to many people now relying on acupuncture as an alternative to Western treatment today.
The tradition of acupuncture has prevailed over the centuries by becoming part of the Western medicine. Doctors now believe in its practice and therefore use it together with Western medicine when treating their patients. Between 1950 and 1960, acupuncture became highly explored throughout the world.
